Ray paints about practices and stories handed down to him from his old people. He paints stories about the time of creation and about travelling and hunting the animals that sustain life and culture.

Ray was selected by Crema Constructions to be the third artist featured in their Gallery in the Sky project following Adnatre and Johua Miels. Ray’s artworks have been collected by the Department of Justice and Regulation, Vic Roads, Forensicare, Australian Health Practioner Regulation Agency and Abacus Property Group.
