We’re All the Same and I’m A Proud Indigenous Man

I’m a proud, 44 year old Indigenous man and have recently found out that I have Koorie blood. So this is just a painting that I thought tells a little bit about me finding out about my culture. I’ve painted the two flags because, for me, they represent that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and that all human beings are all the same. I would love for all cultures and all people of this land to all get along and live in peace and harmony. Finding out about my culture has been challenging but also rewarding. I can’t wait to learn more about my culture so that I can incorporate it into my art.
