Yorta Yorta/Wiradjuri artist Ash Thomas shares the story behind his artwork which was commissioned by Reece to feature on their new employee polo in 2024. 

Born in Shepparton, Ash has fond memories of spending school holidays by the Murray River ‘without a worry in the world’. He has a lifelong passion for art and now practices his art on Wurundjeri Country.

The circles in his artwork design which features on Reece’s polo shirts “represent all the rivers and the water and life… The four campsites around the outside of the design represent all the different mobs and families living on the sides of the rivers and the billabongs.”
