My name is Heather, I am a 55 year-old Wiradjuri woman born in Cowra NSW. I have four children and eighteen grandchildren. I spent my teens and early adulthood travelling from Shepparton in Victoria to Bowan fruit picking. I first started doing art in prison as a way of easing my anxiety and to connect to my culture. I found it does so much more, it has opened up a new life of fulfilment and joy.

I now reside in Melbourne, Victoria and intend on teaching my daughters and grandchildren the joy of art.
