Joel is a Yorta Yorta/Wiradjuri artist who first joined the Torch program in 2017. His artworks commonly feature diamond designs representing the land and rivers of Yorta Yorta and Wiradjuri Country. Joel’s practice spans painting and carving wooden artefacts. He has even made furniture featuring beautiful pokerwork designs.
