Make a Bequest for First Nations Futures

Why Make a Bequest to The Torch?

By leaving a gift in your Will to The Torch, you’re helping build brighter futures for First Nations artists and communities and creating a lasting legacy to support our ongoing work.

How Your Bequest Makes a Difference for First Nations Artists

Including a gift to The Torch in your Will is a powerful way to ensure that future generations of First Nations artists can access pathways to healing, self-expression, and economic independence. Every gift — large or small — helps us continue to break cycles of incarceration and support stronger communities.

Create a lasting impact for First Nations artists and make a bequest today.

How to leave a gift in my Will

Before making a Will, we recommend you seek appropriate legal/and or financial advice from your accountant, solicitor or a public trustee to ensure it is valid and determine the wording needed to give your Will’s executor the power to act on your wishes.

Suggested Wording for Your Will

Once you decide on the type of bequest you’d like to make to The Torch, ask your solicitor to draft a clause for inclusion in your Will. It’s important that the wording is correct, or your Will may be invalid.

Please see suggested wording below here for you to take your solicitor, along with our ABN.
