Be a Future Dreamer
The Torch is a First Peoples-led non-profit arts organisation supporting First Nations people in Victoria with lived experience of incarceration.
Behind high walls and locked doors, First Nations artists are defining their own futures through cultural connection, artistic expression, and personal storytelling. The Torch is proud to present Future Dreaming 2026: Voices Beyond the Walls—an exhibition centered entirely on the self-expression, direct words, and personal aspirations of First Nations people in Victoria’s correctional facilities.

The Torch places culture and identity at the heart of healing, supporting participants as they envision new pathways beyond the criminal legal system. Every artwork created is part of a personal journey, reflecting the stories individual artists choose to share in their own voice and style.
Every artwork sold represents a vital step toward financial self-determination. The Torch takes zero commission—100% of each sale goes directly to the artist.
To deliver this transformative program, we rely on the generosity of our philanthropic community. We invite you to partner with us today. Your tax-deductible donation empowers First Nations artists to shape a new future for themselves and their communities.
