Tubsy is a Gunditjmara/Narungga artist, with cultural connections to south-western Victoria and Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. Tubsy’s intricately patterned paintings often describe stories about creation spirits and hunting and gathering bush food. He also speaks about the importance of connection to culture on a personal and community level.
Tubsy has been exhibiting with The Torch since 2012, when he was a featured artist in ‘Confined 4’, presented at Carlisle Street Art Space in St Kilda.
