Ray Traplin’s Cape York Hunting Grounds #5
Late in 2017 Kuku Yalanji artist Ray Traplin completed a commission for VicRoad’s new theatrette. Measuring 149 x 181 cm, Ray painted Cape York Hunting Grounds #5, specifically for VicRoads and was on hand to talk about his artwork at the launch of this new space March 2018.
Garry Scott’s Sisters
Abacus Property Group commissioned Garry Scott late 2017 to create this large 150cm x 150cm painting Sisters for their foyer space. Sisters represents Garry’s four daughters.
Ray Traplin’s Cape York Hunting Grounds #3
Kuku Yalanji artist Ray Traplin completed a commission for Abacus Property Group late 2017. Cape York Hunting Grounds #3 measures 198 x 198cm and has been made specifically for the Abacus Property Group foyer.
Shane Lovett’s Bunjil’s Creations
St John of God Accord commissioned the creation of the 3 paintings above Frog, Bunjil and Turtle by Gunditjmara artist Shane Lovett. These paintings were created for the foyer of the St John of God Accord head office. This commission included the production of 40 prints of the Frog, Bunjil and Turtle paintings which have been framed and hung in St John of God’s Accord’s accommodation facilities to be enjoyed by their clients.
