Wangkumara Dreaming: The Great Water Snake
$2,000
Tooliwooli waterhole is sacred to the Wangkumara Nation. The Elders of the Wangkumara Nation held a meeting with four clever men about the waterhole. Elders were sick of other tribespeople using their waterhole as a playground.
The Elders asked one of the four clever men to volunteer to protect the waterhole and one of them agreed to watch over the sacred place. This meant that the clever man had to live there for the rest of his life so he turned himself into a great water snake.
When other tribes go there without permission from the Elders the Great Water Snake takes them and you’ll never see them again.
