Grubs in My Hand

This painting of the palm of my hand represents a part of my life story and what we learnt about parts of my culture. In the palm of my hand are witchetty grubs, that we use to catch fish and we also eat. These are ways I’ve been taught from my Elders. The footprints represent me going walkabout, looking for witchetty grubs, and going fishing and cooking up on ash in the fire. This is a part of my future dreaming.
