Kangaroo Didge/ Sea People

This didge represents the kangaroo people from the Darug clans from the inner west Sydney, NSW (Liverpool). As I’m from the Cabrogal clan near the sea, we used to trade our fish with their kangaroo from the inner west clans – the kangaroo people. At corroborees and feasts we shared our dance and songlines whilst feasting on kangaroo and fish.
