Wati Ngintaka Story # 2

$3,000

Wati Ngintaka (wati = man, ngintaka = goanna) heard the fine grinding in the air, so he went and stole the grinding stone. He ran through the Pitjantjatjara lands past Angatja where the salt lake is. He ran with all the tribesmen chasing him to a place called Uran where the tribesmen stabbed him in the foot then killed him and cut him up. You can see Wati Ngintaka to this day in the mountain at Uran in Western Australia.
