Darug Mudjin (Family) Dinner Table

This Darug Family Dinner Table features both land and sea totems as we eat and survive off both. We must not over-fish or over-hunt either of these. This is what I was taught and what I will teach my children’s children.
The meeting place in the middle of the table has many circles representing that this is a special meeting place, being my family dinner table. The people represent my family. The legs are hand-carved and represent the ocean’s currents which feed all our water-life. They also represent the trees, roots and plants that feed all our wildlife.
