Dolphin and Fish Arch

The Dolphin and Fish Arch represents the importance of dolphins and fish to all the tribes along the south-east coast of Australia.
The story has been told that every season, at a certain time, the dolphins would chase the fish up the estuaries and river systems, up into the shallows or man-made rock fish traps, where the fish were easily picked up, netted or speared.
The abalone shell inlays represent the shellfish eaten by my people and the rest of the south-east coast tribes.
The dolphins and eternal waves represent the eternal love we have for these totems and for both the land and the sea.
