Buubumurr the Platypus

Once, when our waterways were healthy, Buubumurr lived everywhere in the freshwater creeks and rivers throughout our Country, swimming and playing with the family, catching fish and enjoying life. Now, with the pollution and chemicals, discarded fishing lines and plastics, and the water taken from our rivers by greedy mines and farms, Buubumurr has been pushed almost to extinction. Soon, future generations will only know of Buubumurr in our Dreamtime.
