The circle images mean waterholes and the lines represent water running from one to the other. The symbol above them means walking paths from all different directions to one meeting place. There’s a mother and father goanna and the gum leaves represent life ceremonies. The hands are my hands, so the hands represent myself, a true part of me. Not only will the owner have my creation story, they’ll also have a part of myself.

When you put all the images together, everything needs water to survive. That’s why all the paths from all directions all meet at the waterholes – water is life. From the waterholes we can track the animals to catch for eating. Gum leaves are so important to our culture from ceremonies to all aspects.
