Home Invasion
$360
I have been shooting and hunting since I was 10 years old (slug guns). By the time I was 16 I was a ringer on a big Queensland cattle station on the western side of the Great Divide. Shooting wild dogs and rabbits was common but when I saw what I thought was a deformed feral boar, I scoped it up in my 22.250 Remington and saw it was a monster feral cat, the size of an average blue heeler. I shot it and found his blood trail but he’d disappeared … I have NEVER seen one that big since then.
Feral pigs, dogs, rabbits, cats, goats, brumbies, camels, buffalo and big scrub bulls can all be very dangerous. I was a ringer in the Top End for over 10 years and I learnt to have a healthy fear and respect for these beasts that kill our totems and spirit animals. I got rid of as many as I could.
