Ghosts of the Past

The whales migrate from the Torres Strait to Antarctica and then return to the warm waters of the Torres Strait to breed and nurture their young and prepare them for the return trip, feeding on krill. Every year there are more white whales born. The white male breeds with the white female and the magic of a baby white whale happens.
Many years ago, whales were hunted to near extinction by commercial whalers and the ghosts of years past still haunt the Torres Strait. If commercial whaling had continued, the ghosts of the past may have been only a memory.
