My Story

This painting represents part of my cultural journey, learning about my ancestry and country. The white and grey squares represent memories I've made and things I've learnt about my Wiradjuri heritage and blood lines. The grey lines represent the roads that are still yet to be travelled and things I'm still yet to discover about my culture. The footprints represent my footprints and my mark that I am creating in, and on, Country as I travel and learn. The goanna represents me and is also a Wiradjuri totem. It shows my connection to my kinship and animals.
