Narumbe Initiation
$400
The Kukabrak (also known as the Ngarrindjeri) tradition of initiation involved three young Narumbe (novices) who were selected during a gathering and then set up in a camp on the outskirts of the community in sight of the male Elders. The Narumbe boys would often be accompanied by a grandmother who was tasked with preparing food and caring for the health of the boys.
