Rainbow Lorikeets


When I was a boy, I used to go goanna (barni) hunting with my aunty in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. I used to watch rainbow lorikeets with their beautiful colours sucking on Eucalyptus flowers. When the birds flew away, the beautiful rainbow colours under their wings were exposed.
