The Two Sisters

The two sisters are spirit beings, from Reddell Beach in Broome. One day, they were looking for native bush onions in the sand. It’s a quiet beach were they had never come across any humans. One day, a man sees them. He knows they are spirit beings, and being curious, he walls up to them, and touches them. From that moment, they couldn’t go back to their world.

The sisters turn themselves into rocks and their spirits fly away in form of birds – white cockatoos. They fly away inland, where they land in an open field, turning into women as they touch the ground.
