Dragonfly Dreaming

Dragonflies (migiwirrawarra) are important to my people. They indicate the changing of the season – that the wet season has finished and it’s time to harvest fish and yam (barntji). It is said that if you dream of dragonflies then something it about to change in your life. I painted this as a dragonfly crossed my path the day I was thinking of what to paint next.
