Sands of Time, Lake Mungo #6, 2019
At Lake Mungo, the colours of the sand, earth and surroundings change over time, When the wind blows, sand hills will change shape. The designs in the sand will change. It will move like the sand is alive. It will go wherever the wind takes it. Different sands and the earth around it will change colours after the rain then, when slowly drying, will turn many different shades before going back to its original colour. After the rains, new sprouts will shoot up out of the ground, changing colour once again.
